Description In coordination with the Distribution Center Finance/IT Managaer, you will oversee all computer systems related to DC production and staff support as well as make recommendations relative to new equipment based on input from Home Office.

The Distribution Center IT Supervisor will be responsible for all systems support activities within the DC. Positions reporting to the DC Systems IT Supervisor will be:

Systems Application Analyst
Network Coordinator
Data Center Associates

The Distribution Center IT Supervisor will have a basic knowledge of all Distribution Center systems; will understand the relationship between the systems and the DC operation; will have a basic understanding of the network and related equipment.
o Understanding of the DC operation and its relationship to DC systems

o Understanding of system functionality of all systems used in the DC
including, but not limited to:
Warehouse Management systems
Sortation systems
Voice systems
Labor Management systems

o Ability to communicate changes to management, peers, and
subordinates

o Understand the Databases used in all systems

o Data Center

o Understand TAGS

o Understand Meto printer operation

o Understand the process of matching tickets, distro’s to headers

o Labor management system

o Understand the interface to the system

o Supervise the clerical staff involved in data entry of daily logs

o Each DC should have an LMS lead on each shift

o Basic network set-up in the DC

o Manage equipment inventory

o Monitor storage and tracking of handheld devices

o Understand maintenance processes on all systems and equipment

o Work with software and equipment vendors when required

o Coordinate DC Systems activities relative to software and hardware
installations
