School of Medicine - The NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC)

The University of Southampton is home to the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC) which was established in April 2008. NETSCC is managing a growing number of research programmes on behalf of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

Fixed term contract posts are offered alternatively as secondments to existing university of Southampton employees subject to the agreement of their current school/professional service.

Two interesting Programme Manager vacancies have arisen in one of the programmes managed by NETSCC. These posts are full time and 12 month fixed term contracts, to start in May.

You will have a background in the management of health research, with experience in a project administration or a management role.

You will be providing an efficient professional research management service to ensure effective delivery of the research projects funded by the programme. You will have excellent organisational, administrative and project reporting skills and you will be IT literate and able to demonstrate people management and communications skills. You will be capable of building and maintaining excellent working relationships with people at all levels.
