Job Title: Channel Sales Representative
City: Mumbai
Job Description: Channel Sales Reps primary responsibility will be to
achieve quarter on quarter the stipulated booking & revenue
numbers from assigned territory through enabling channel
partners.

Responsibilities include: Position & gaining mind share
among SGI partners for SGI Products, Technology solutions &
Services. Work closely with Channel partner organizations
field sales team & management team in meeting & exceeding
the booking & revenue numbers. Development of business plan
for the territory with channel partner, aligning territory
business plans with overall corporate strategy; actively
manage territory business plans to meet revenue
goals/quotas. Define & execute partner sales plan. Build,
monitor & orchestrate sales pipeline developed to ensure
continuous population & movement of near & long-term
opportunities. (Minimum of 3-5x of stipulated booking
numbers). Implementation of accurate channel forecast
systems such that regular updating of the SIEBEL tool is
performed. Must be willing to commit & achieve the QoQ

numbers. Implementation of Deal Registration & able to
critically assesses deals to ensure problem-free closure &
responsible for clean & error free logging of the order
into SGI system & ensure on time revenue recognition is
achieved as per the commit. Exhibits authoritative
business, commercial & competitive acumen to develop
strategic engagement with channel partners to grow SGI
revenue. Should be able to handle channel conflicts.
Conduct Monthly Sales plan review meetings with channel
partners.Work with marketing to drive programs & events to
extend the relationships to new prospects and aggressively
drive partners to maximize sales & funnel growth. Attend &
participate in product seminars & trade shows.

Job Requirements: B.E / MBA. Must be Team Player, Self-motivated, creative,
flexible determined to succeed and excel. Enthusiastic &
hard working attitude. Good planning & organizing skills,
excellent presentation & communication skills. Experience
in organizing Channel events. Good understanding of the
industry segments such as Higher Education, Research
Agencies, Government, Manufacturing, Defense & Media
(Production, Braodcast etc.) Minimum 15 years of total work
experience out of which 6-8 years in Channel Management,
with proven track record in solution selling & have
managed business to USD 3-4 Million & managing a pipeline
of 8-10 Million. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in West
(Mandatory) with exposure to other regions will be
preferred. Must have prior experience in engaging with
ISVs & software development houses.
