Job description Our prestigious EPC client currently requires a Principal E&I Designer for their Paddington, London offices

Objectives of Job:

As a senior member of the EIT department working within the E&I Design Group, the key objective will be to carry out his/her assigned duties and responsibilities in a professional manner and to a high standard in accordance with corporate and project standards and procedures.

An experienced designer with at least 10 years experience in the oil and gas business, one of the key objectives will be to provide development, co-ordination and administrative support for INtools and other corporate software such as PDMS and SmartPlant Electrical within the EIT group

Main Function within Department:

To provide E&I design expertise and support corporately and/or within dedicated project teams to deliver quality design documentation and drawings.
Shall have extensive knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
INtools
3-d modelling PDMS design knowledge


Responsibilities and Duties:

Corporate line responsibility to the Chief EIT Engineer who will identify specific design tasks within the discipline group and/or assign the designer to a suitable position within a dedicated project team.
Shall provide corporate support for the development of corporate software standards and procedures. Shall be responsible for the set-up, administration and support of INtools / PDMS / SmartPlant Electrical EIT facilities on projects to ensure corporate consistency within the organization.
Must be capable of working in a dynamic project environment driven by contractual agreements, schedules and milestones and feel comfortable taking both individual and team responsibility for delivering quality design deliverables on time.
