The Vacancy

We are seeking a bright and energetic software developer to join the networking and security team.

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the software product life cycle.

The candidate will be responsible for development, and maintenance of networking and security technologies on both VxWorks and Linux operating systems. A demonstrated track record of producing robust and thoroughly tested solutions is a must.

The Wind River networking and security team has some of the industry's most skilled engineers. Candidates must have a strong passion for learning evolving technologies and be able to combine this with an ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team.


Responsibilities:

· Design and develop leading edge networking and security solutions
· Provide maintenance and support for current and legacy products
· Contribute to design and code reviews
· Contribute to specification and architectural reviews
· Complete in-code documentation of software
· Participate as a part of highly collaborative project teams
· Participate in work definition and planning as required
· Participate in project risk identification and assessmentt

Job Description: Candidate Requirements

· 5 - 7 years of relevant software development experience.
· Strong experience in network and security software development in C for embedded systems
· Experience with real-time operating systems. VxWorks or Linux experience would definitely be an asset
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
· Must be highly motivated team player.
· BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
