Day to day management and support of allocated customer maintenance / project contracts. Co-ordination and monitoring of all customers’ work scopes with other departments and suppliers. Responsible for the review and management of minor changes to data sheets and procedures as required. Operation and support of team allocated maintenance / project contracts. Organising and control of onshore & offshore installation, commissioning and repair work. Provision of first point engineering support to personnel in the field. To ensure the timely submission of monthly reports as defined/required by support contracts. To ensure that regular face to face meetings are held with clients. Ensure updates are managed and filed as required. To encourage the full and correct utilisation of other support departments and disciplines. To manage minor changes to datasheets and procedures as necessary. To encourage the development of a proactive culture of service to customers. Check timelogs and invoices prior to submission to the client. Work towards the achievement of clean and correct invoices to improve cashflow. Co-ordinate and support technical investigations and reports. To manage Field Issue Logs (FIL’s) generated from issues raised during field work. To ensure all FIL’s generated are actioned and closed out in a timely manner. To ensure contract compliance on allocated maintenance / project contracts. Commercial management of all T&M and fixed price jobs. Ensure Mob & De-Mob meetings are held using accurate and relevant information in accordance with Field Standing Procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE Degree / HNC qualified in an engineering discipline preferred. Working knowledge in Word, Windows and Excel preferred. Working knowledge in SAP preferred. Ability to work offshore and overseas. Demonstrable engineering experience. Be able to plan and control deliveries, including return. Ability to plan own work. Ability to identify, define and implement changes in own engineering discipline. Understanding of multidiscipline interactions and dependencies (including relations to Procurement, Construction and Subcontracting). Ability to follow-up responsibilities regarding technical integrity of an installation. and/or equipment. Knowledge within degradation mechanisms and influencing factors. Demonstrable relevant industry experience. Demonstrable experience in the Subsea industry in the electro/hydraulic controls field, equipment and systems. Demonstrable experience of the oilfield service industry. Demonstrable experience provision of pro-active support as part of a Customer Focused Team Environment. Good contractual and commercial awareness. Ability to develop job cards with necessary support documentation in order to prepare work packages for the installation work process (i.e. Mob packs). Ability to setup and configure applications and models. Training of users and perform services and support for projects. Ability to perform occupational health evaluations and initiate corrective actions. Knowledge in customs, transport and handling. Ability to understand contractual limitations and opportunities, including scope of work and interfaces, as well as commercial implications. Ability to check that all drawings conforms to the specifications and standards. Ability to provide necessary support during fabrication, installation and MC, onshore and offshore. Ability to understand what the product is, its functionality and how it fits/works. Ability to estimate. Ability to select documents and relevant procedures for field testing purposes.
